STIHL HLA 56 Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer

The STIHL HLA 56 Hedge Trimmer is the perfect cordless tool for cutting taller hedges and shrubs in your garden. The STIHL HLA 56 Hedge Trimmer is a lightweight and well-balanced cordless long-reach hedge trimmer which features double-edged, droplet-shaped blades to guide branches between the cutting teeth for a precise and even finish. The angle of the head can be changed from -45° to +90° so you can easily trim all of those hard-to-reach areas in the garden.

With a detachable shaft for easy transportation and an included bracket for neat storage, the HLA 56 is a great tool to add to your collection. The HLA 56 is just one of the tools in the STIHL AK system – the interchangeable battery, such as the STIHL AK 20 used in this machine, can also be used in any other tool in the AK range such as a grass trimmer, blower, lawn mower or a chainsaw. The carrying length of the HLA 56 is 115cm and the total length when together is 210cm.

High cutting performance
The cutting teeth are droplet shaped with a large tooth spacing and integrated cut protection to ensure high cutting performance.

Simple operation
The HLA 56 has a locking lever (orange front), ERGO lever (black) and a main trigger (orange below). The locking lever is self-resetting and prevents unintentional switching on of the device. When the ERGO lever and shift lever are pressed, you can work continuously with ease.

Simple head angle adjustment
With the help of a large angle adjustment button, the blade angle can be easily adjusted without tools from -45° to +90° for cutting the top of hedges and the sides.

Split shaft
The shaft of the HLA 56 is easily separable thanks to the clamp with a toggle screw. The tool can therefore be easily transported and stored.

Loop Handle
The comfortable all-around handle ensures great freedom of movement and easy handling, in even more, confined spaces.

Tip protection
The tip protector allows you to cut closer to the ground or along walls and helps protect the blades from damage.

Wall-mounted storage bracket
Thanks to the wall bracket, the individual shaft components can be stored off the ground helping to save space in your shed or garage.
