The HORSEWARE RHINO Original 250 is a 250g Medium weight standard neck stable rub which has been specifically designed for comfort and for keeping your precious horse warm and cosy this winter. The RHINO Original features a heavy duty, strong and durable 1000D Polypropylene outer with a Thermobonded Fiberfill for superior heat retention and an anti-static, anti-bacterial polyester lining which really brings out the shine in your horse's beautiful coat.
It also features a Var-Layer design which is the layering of Thermobonded Fiberfill to give you maximum heat retention without the need of any extra bulk in the rug itself, this keeps the rug lightweight for both you get it on and off of your horse, and for your horse whilst it is wearing it day in and out.
This rug is finished in the classic cut and offers an updated cosy fleece lined the collar and wither pad to enhance the horses comfort by lifting the rug to its correct position to prevent any extra and unwanted pressure on the wither and to prevent the rubbing of the mane. It features double front closures, fillet string and crosses surcingles.
Colour: Grey Check
What is it? Vari-Layer Technology is the layering up of thermobonded fiberfill to gain maximum heat retention without the heaviness of a standard fill, this gives you more warmth but much less weight.
The thermobonded fiberfill used in this system retains its loft over time even through washing which in turn helps your rug maintain optimal heat retention as it ages.
Why is this good for me? It's not only good for you, it's also good for your horse. For you, or the owner it means less physical weight to lift on and off of your horses back. For your horse, it means it has to carry much less weight. For horses that struggle with holding condition or older horses, this can be an invaluable tool to aid in keeping them warm and cosy even on the coldest of nights.
By layering the fibre on the sides, the rug can sit much closer to the horse's body, trapping the warmth air and allowing greater belly coverage.
